Protocol
GameSpy 2Check Point can only query servers that are currently running. Make sure your game server is online and has finished starting up.
Most game servers have a query or status setting that must be turned on. Check your server configuration for a query-related setting and make sure it is enabled.
The query port is usually different from the game port. Check your server configuration or your game's documentation for the correct query port.
Make sure your firewall allows traffic on the query port. If your server is behind a NAT or router, you may also need port forwarding.
A password does not usually prevent querying — the query protocol is separate from the game connection. If your server is private, check that the query port still accepts external requests.
